Following are the relevant applications of AI in the Simplain Vendor Portal solution.
Semantic Search
With AI powered search, the system responds by understanding the meaning of the query rather than going by the text. For example, searching for "Vegan Protein" will return "Lentils" as one of search results. The system is also tolerant to typos and user mistakes in query.
Anomaly Detection
Using advanced NLP techniques, the system will perform reasonability check on data thay may look technically correct, but potentially unreasonable from a business perspective. For example, 100 Kg of popcorn instead of 100g of popcorn.
Multi-Language Support
The system will provide suggested translations for various text data elements, which the users can modify to serve internal and external customers in multiple languages. In addition, the system will accept search phrases in many languages, even if the customer implementaiton does not use that language.
Intelligent Document Processing
This can be called enhanced OCR, where the system will not only read the text in the image and populate the screen, it will also use semantic similarity to perform tasks. We use IDP techniques widely in vendor onboarding, item introduction and invoice management modules.
